Jed has over 20 years of Blue Chip Operations experience, including 14 in Supply Chain roles in manufacturing, purchasing and logistics. In addition to this he has nine years General Management experience working in consumer B2C and B2B support service businesses. He has worked in and with multi-national branded corporate organisations, PE backed and small privately owned entrepreneurial businesses in the Food and Drink, Support Services, Professional Services and Healthcare sectors.
As MD Jed will be looking to combine that supply chain expertise with his experience in leading customer service oriented businesses to ensure F & P continues to provide the industry standard in terms of range, service and value, delighting customers, engaging colleagues and impressing shareholders.
John graduated in 1980 with a BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Leeds University. After completing his studies, John spent 11 years working within the retail management and building materials supply market.
Taking his growing experience into a new sector, in 1991 John joined Connections as Operations Manager in Poole, where his key responsibilities were looking after the product branding operation, sales office and warehouse functions. Having been promoted to Operations Director in 2006, he then became responsible for the full P&L of the company along with all operational and sales.
Following a merger of operations between F & P Wholesale / Connections in 2011, John joined the F & P Wholesale board, with responsibility for developing the Connections offer throughout the F & P operational network. In April 2014, John took over as Operations Director for the company, bringing together both branding and distribution operations across all of our branches.
Chris joined F & P Wholesale in 1986 as a Warehouseman and has worked his way up through the company to his current role. With over 25 years experience in the industry, Chris is now responsible for half of the companyís sales turnover, and development of the north region sales force.
Other positions held by Chris since he joined F & P Wholesale include Sales Representative and Sales Manager, and in his role as Northern Sales Director he is now also responsible for the development of sales of key brand and own brand products.
Andy has been with the company since 1996 and holds the role of Sales Director for Independent customers. Andy started his career in the independent merchant industry in 1990 and has held various positions including branch management, business development and sales management.
As part of his responsibility for the independent sales division team, Andy upholds and improves business relations with his customers and leads and influences a successful and experienced team of Regional Sales Managers and Local Account Managers.
David joined F & P in 2015 with over 20 years' experience and a background in business growth strategy. He has worked across a number of sectors including commercial, supply chain and managerial roles with British Sugar, Silver Spoon and PepsiCo, as well as IT company Prism Europe.
As Programme Director he will guide F & Pís expansion and integration programmes across the business units. David is passionate about delivering the best possible outcomes for the Programme at the same time as safeguarding customer service standards.
